Thank you for visiting my website. On this site you will find the compilation of design works including print, web design and programming as well as digital video production. I’m still new to this field but I’m thankful each and every day for the chance to learn new things and improve my skills.

Joey Gay

I’m happy to report… Joey Gay was kicked out of Last Comic Standing last night. I could never understand why he feels the need to scream while he’s on stage. It’s really annoying. He didn’t get the lowest number of votes but he still went home and that’s all that matters.

Bil Dwyer also went home. He’s been a favorite of mine so far but he really didn’t bring his A game last night. He was all over the board, not tying any of his subjects together. I think that he let his nerves get the best of him.

Michelle Balan was challenged again along with Chris Porter - they had a four-way tie on the vote by each comedian so 4 people had to compete. Chris Porter was brilliant and Michelle did really well too. I don’t think that anyone will be challenging her again any time soon after two straight wins.

Stella’s Out

Stella was kicked out of the Last Comic house last night. Apparently all the comics felt the same way about her as I did. I think the three that went in the head-to-head last night were the best choices. It was like the comics took matters into their own hands and said, “We’ll get the token abrasive people with no talent off this show ourselves.”

I was very pleased with the outcome. Stella got the least amount of votes last night and that’s the way it should have been. I think that April Macie was only biding her time until she was going to have to leave. She reminded me of the co-star of “That’s So Raven” on Disney Channel - high-pitched and juvenile. I’m not surprised she’s out.

It’s only a matter of time before Michelle Balan gets booted but she deserved to win last night against the other two comics. The ones to really keep an eye on are Kristin Key and Gabriel Iglesias. Funny stuff!

Last Comic

Okay, I’m going to rant for a moment. I love stand-up comedy. If I could spend my entire life watching these people I would. Last Comic Standing has always been a great mecca for this passion but tonight I am intensely disappointed.

Stella made the house. What the? She didn’t even have enough material for three different acts, she repeated herself each time she performed. They even brought in the token older woman. I am so sick of these shows picking people based on their clash-potential in the house. I’d rather there be no bickering but GREAT COMEDY! Try that for a change, eh?

They had such great comics tonight to pick from and they picked 3 of the worst from the bunch.

American Idol

Did anyone catch American Idol last night. Man, was it Karaoke night on Fox or what? There I was snappin’ my fingers and jammin’ to the beat when this year’s token rocker, Chris Daughtry gets up to do a “personalized” performance of Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder. Did anybody recognize the rendition? Can we say Red Hot Chili Peppers? He was getting so many props for giving it his own flavor that he forgot to mention that he ripped it straight from their What Hits? album.

It was a good performance but he should have given credit where it was due. Simon even said that he thinks Chris could have a hit with that version today. Duh… it already was a hit. Too funny. Just another example where a copy-cat receives critical acclaim. There’s hope for my lack of originality yet.
